Jen+Sean: married!
Jen and Sean tied the knot in Williamsburg, Va., in a beautiful afternoon ceremony at the Wren Chapel on the William & Mary campus. I love this chapel, perfect for an intimate ceremony, with old wood pews and sunlight streaming through large windows high above. Jen and Sean struck me as being a very sweet couple, very much in love and and truly fulfilled in each other. Although they probably would have been content to celebrate their togetherness just the two of them, their families and loved ones made for quite the party, with the Bostonians first in line for best dancers and toast-givers. It was a classic and elegant wedding thanks to the wonderful Lindsay Averette from LK Events & Design. And when the rings were exchanged and the deal was sealed by a kiss, the party was on at the Alumni House just across campus. And the music, oh the music! Sound Nation, out of Washington DC, rocked the house and made everyone forget about the chilly end of Fall night. Rachel+Chase: engaged!
Rachel and Chase are seniors at William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va. These lovebirds met their freshmen year and spent the next four star gazing, climbing trees and learning each other. They knew early on that they wanted to spend their lives together and will officially tie the knot in June 2011. I had a blast shooting this Fall engagement session. Within minutes Rachel and Chase had their shoes off, their feet in the water and then we were off through the woods in search of beautiful Fall colors and a tree to climb. I think this couple’s love for each other and fun-loving spirit come through in the photos and I’m excited to share them with you. Enjoy!
Chris and Susie: oh baby!
Chris and Susie chose Gari Melchers Home and Studio at Belmont in Fredericksburg, Va., as the location for their belly session. Even though she’s quite close to the big day, Susie was full of energy and spunk as we explored the property and had a fun morning together. With their baby boy on the way, she and Chris danced and played and I could feel that these first-time parents are going to be great. Following are images from our morning together: enjoy!
